As the end of the internship approaches, there is still a lot to be done. There have been a lot of appearances scheduled for April. The main event coming up is the Dogwood festival which will last April 25 and the 26th. It's a big day to go out in the Fayetteville community and promote the SwampDogs' upcoming season. On Saturday, I worked the Cape Fear Valley Health System Easter Egg Hunt that was held here at the SwampDogs' stadium. It was an event for all the hospital workers to bring their families out for a day of fun. We brought our mascot out to help promote the season. I wore the mascot costume and it was quite interesting to adjust to. I had a lot of fun doing it though. Other tasks that I had were getting high school all star baseball game things together, run to the post office, make group outing calls, and plenty of other odd and end jobs.
